Ball joint end set for gas spring. There are two parts: a socket with thread M6 female, which screws onto the top of the gas spring tube and takes a safety clip, and a ball stud of Ø10 mm with stud M8 of 12 mm and nut, which bolts to the bracket on the vehicle side. From the tube face to the ball centre there are 30 mm. White passivated zinc-plated finish.

THE THREAD DECIDES COMPATIBILITY: this terminal is M6 female and only fits springs with an M6 male thread — the four in L1, of 6/15. Gauge. Forcing it onto the wrong thread ruins the spring's spigot, which is the expensive part.
