Steel · zinc-plated
End fork for gas spring, with thread M6 female. It has two arms with 5 mm of slot and pin of Ø5 mm already fitted, with retaining clip. It fits into a sheet steel lug, unlike the eye, which needs a pin passed through by the customer. From the hole centre to the abutment there are 20 mm, the body height is 10 mm and the pin head protrudes 2 mm. White passivated zinc-plated finish.

- It is FORK (clevis), NOT It is EYELET. The manufacturer's drawing BSTD615-318-120, read in a crop at 1200 dpi, shows two arms with a groove in U open, pin passing through with the head protruding 2 mm, and a retaining plate underneath, along the full length, which catches behind the collar. Changes the assembly: fits into a lug, the eye needs a pin supplied by the customer.

THE THREAD DECIDES COMPATIBILITY: this terminal is M6 female and only fits springs with an M6 male thread — the four in L1, of 6/15. Gauge. Forcing it onto the wrong thread ruins the spring's spigot, which is the expensive part.
