KIT 2 toolbox gas springs 50 N · 318 mm

Kit with the two units that a toolbox lid takes, of 50 N each, which gives 100 N of total thrust. Each gas spring has 318 mm overall length and 120 mm of stroke, rod of Ø6 mm black-nitrided and tube of Ø15 mm painted black, and comes with the end fittings already fitted — clevis with hole Ø5 on the rod and ball joint Ø10, with stud M8, on the tube.

FIT WITH THE ROD DOWNWARDS — stated expressly by Tornado on the drawing («must be mounted with piston rod down»). That is what keeps the seal lubricated; fitted the other way up it loses force and fails early.
